Welcome to Chestermere Landing!

 

Completed in late 1978, The Landing is Chestermere's oldest commercial structure.  Before 1978 it had a decades-long history as a place where people gathered to enjoy the lake, boating, skating, ice fishing, and eating ice-cream sold from the modest original structures.  Formerly The Chestermere Inn, it was renamed Chestermere Landing in the early nineteen eighties.

For decades there has been a lakeside Pub, originally The Boathouse Pub, and now The Dockside Bar and Grill, located right next to the lake on the lower level of The Landing.  In 2013 the Chestermere Landing Marina opened to offer summer recreational activities.  Literally thousands of patrons have enjoyed paddleboarding, canoes, and kayaks on Chestermere Lake every summer since.  A favorite for visitors and locals alike to paddle in the summer, skate on the lake in the winter, take a walk on the dock, snap a selfie, or just enjoy the views.

In 2019 Lakeside Cannabis, Chestermere's only locally owned and operated dispensary opened next to The Dockside Bar and Grill and in 2020 Magna Engineering established their offices within the upper floors of The Landing. This iconic Chestermere landmark keeps changing with the times in keeping with the growing City By the Lake.
